  3. Better overall health: And the best part? Regular oil pulling can improve your overall health, too! It's said to help remove toxins from your body, boost your immune system, and reduce inflammation.

3. Clean your makeup brushes!

Listen, we are all guilty of not cleaning our brushes as often as we should. BUT GIRL the amount of bacteria that lingers on those brushes is NOT GOOD for your skin health or hygiene. This can cause clogged pores, irritated skin, acne and more.

Try to clean your brushes 1x a week minimum. Checkout our favorite way to shape & clean brushes with The Brush Guard here --> CLICK HERE

4. Disinfect your hair brush

Go take a look at your hairbrush...are you confident sending us a picture of it? If not it's probably time to clean.

Not only do you need to remove the hair but also disinfect the brush itself! Bacteria, oils, product and more get stuck on the brush so your putting ickies on your clean hair.

  1. Remove any loose hair from the brush. You can use a comb or scissors to do this.

  2. Fill a basin with warm water and a small amount of mild soap or shampoo.

  3. Place the brush in the soapy water and use your fingers to gently rub the bristles, working out any dirt or product buildup.

  4. Rinse the brush thoroughly with warm water to remove all soap residue.
