What a morning routine at It Just Works looks like!
Are you looking to jumpstart your mornings in 2023 with a healthy routine?
You’ve come to the right place! Starting your day off with healthy habits can make a huge difference in your energy levels, mood, and overall wellbeing. Here’s what we do at It Just Works to ensure a great day!
First things first, we drink a biiiiigg glass of water.
Hydrating your body first thing in the morning helps to kickstart your metabolism, flush out toxins, and give you an energy boost. FUN FACT: If you wait one hour before drinking coffee, you'll prevent the 2:00pm slump as your body will metabolize the caffeine more effectively!
Next, we get some physical activity in.
A morning workout can be anything from a quick jog around the block to a yoga session in the living room. Whatever you choose, it’ll help to get your blood flowing and get you energized for the day. Our favorite lately has been walks in the local park!
Once we've worked up a sweat, we make time for breakfast.
A healthy breakfast will give your body the fuel it needs to get through the morning and keep your energy levels up. Try to include a source of protein and complex carbohydrates to keep you feeling full and energized for longer.
After a full belly, we take all of our daily vitamins.
We want to ensure our brain & body have everything they need to boost our mood, energy, and hygiene so we can tackle the day. In addition to our body deodorizing supplement, some of our favorites have been electrolytes, vitamin d (especially since its winter time), and a probiotic for optimal gut health!
Finally, we take a few minutes to ourselves to meditate.
Whether you have to lock yourself in the closet away from your kids, or just sit in the car in your driveway for a couple extra minutes, some time to yourself will help to set you up for a productive and positive day. We personally LOVE crystals, so we make sure to have our favorite one on us during this time.
